Carlsen vs Svidler in Norway chess 2014 : Even the best in the world makes mistakes

Yesterday, at the Norway chess tourney, round 8, Magnus Carlsen , the best chess player in the world has waisted an opportunity to take the lead after he "blundered" (2 mistakes in a row) and was forced to a draw by perpetual checks . As a result , Serjey Karjakin reigns first (5 points) followed by Magnus and Caruana (4.5 points).

As for the download , I'm happy to provide two different annotated pgn files for this game to make sure you cover all of its facets .

* PGN 1
* PGN 2
